About this product

Product Information

Masterfully dramatizing society's most provocative issues, Jodi Picoult has become a nearly permanent fixture on the New York Times best-seller list. Sing You Home, her 18th riveting book, is the tale of Zoe Baxter, who is finally pregnant after a 10-year struggle with fertility problems. When she loses the baby, she and her husband Max soon divorce. In time, she falls in love with another woman, and they decide to try for a child using Zoe and Max's frozen embryos. But Max's new pastor is vehemently opposed to the "homosexual agenda."

Had good communication with the seller who accepted my offer on a reasonably priced celebrity/pro athlete photo. It was securely packaged and shipped/delivered quickly. Was impressed with the print quality of the photo and appreciated the seamlessness of the entire transaction. Would definitely do business with this seller again if needed….thank you!

  • Biased and poorly developed story

I have read almost every Jodi Picoult book published. Although I do not always agree with or even like the endings, I enjoy her writing as it is easy to read and gives my brain a break from having to work too hard. The most recent novel, Sing You Home, is a far cry from her norm. Besides the fact that there are gaping holes in the story big enough to jump through, you are given two very extreme sides to a hot topic: homosexual marriage and same-sex parenting. This story paints the anti-homosexual Christians as the oppressive right wing, narrow-minded, unsympathetic, and intolerant extremists while the homosexuals are portrayed as bullied, persecuted and loving heroes. According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, the definition of Tolerance is sympathy or indulgence for beliefs or practices ...
