Vocals, detail and depth all come through in spades on these timeless hits on SACD. Yet, the surround mix is full of game that I found neither complimentary or appealing. Lots of delay is built into the rear channels, and it's more distracting than anything. It just doesn't sound natural. Buy this one for stereo listening ... If you ache for the album in surround, disappointment will likely strike.

one of better SACD or DVDA 5.1 mixes I own, really pleased with this disc. "Do do do da da da" is an acoustic only mix in 5.1 which I've never heard before and is really great. While many remasters in surround disappoint this one does not, a definite keeper. Also the 2Channel SACD is a substantial sonic improvement over the RBCD which I also own, much fuller and articulate--basically renders the RBCD useless
I have never bought a Police Album before, this a great compilation and a full sound stage with the excellent multichannel recording, very good mix!
