Not the fault of the product, but the engineering and design of the original mirror. However, the connection for the auto dim is very different. If you intend to omit your auto dim function, this is the mirror for you. You can also cut the factory harness plug and swap it for spade type connectors. I don't recommend this since the original connector is well made.
