The item was stated as fitting a Honda VT250 Spada... the rectifier that was sent was fine but the mounting holes were at 70mm centres whereas the part off my bike (1990 Spada) were at 60mm centres. The unit itself would work and would fit but with only one mounting bolt. I contacted the ebay store and their response was fantastic, they will refund and are going to change the words in the listing and add the mounting hole dimensions. Unfortunately no correct part (60mm) available for a Spada.

    Restoration of quad bike

    Still haven’t used the motor because I’m paint stripping the whole quad bike, spray painting primer and color on frame and chrome plating the metal parts. Motor looks neat and tidy. Comes with carburettor, spark plug and filter.

    Not exactly what you expect

    Brought it thinking it would have all the nessasery parts(bolts, mounts nuts anything) to mount it to the frame im using, my project is difficult as it is,I comes without a guide or instructions or owner's care guide nor does it come with an exhaust or anything indicating where I could get a exhaust for it.

    Awesome little engine. The pod filter is a little on the cheap an nasty side, it rattles around and doesn't seal well, but the engine itself I'm very happy with.
