      Some of the great stuff of 1950s TV.

      What a treat! Some of the great stuff of 1950s TV. Adventures in Paradise, Bold Venture, Overseas Adventures, Rescue 8, and Big Town. Then, for the kids, there was Captain Midnight, and his Secret Squadron, his weekly adventures flying around the globe in his personal jet, the Silver Dart, fighting criminals and spies, and the weekly secret messages the Captain sent to his viewers, to be translated w their secret decoder ring, available from Ovaltine, the Captain's sponsor. Then there were the character shows like Sir Lancelot, the Scarlet Pimpernel, Circus Boy, the other South Seas trader, Captain Grief. And then there is the sinister Dr Fu Manchu, and his ever persistent pursuer, the Inspector Dennis Nayland-Smith. Kind of like the Fugitive, but in reverse, for all you folks ...
