The item was stated as fitting a Honda VT250 Spada... the rectifier that was sent was fine but the mounting holes were at 70mm centres whereas the part off my bike (1990 Spada) were at 60mm centres. The unit itself would work and would fit but with only one mounting bolt. I contacted the ebay store and their response was fantastic, they will refund and are going to change the words in the listing and add the mounting hole dimensions. Unfortunately no correct part (60mm) available for a Spada.

Excellent Engine
These engines are excellent. I put one into an old 1976 Honda CJ250T (had to manufacture adapted brackets and get it engineered) which I use as an everyday runner. The engine has done around 8000 kms now and hasn't missed a beat and doesn't use a drop of oil from oil change to oil change. Just make sure you change the oil and clean the screen (not that it ever needs cleaning) every 800kms or so. These engines are excellent.
