      Best tool in the tackle box

      Never really felt the need for a hook sharpener, having purchased this sharpener and trying it on a hook that was a new hook from a packet I didn't realise how blunt some hooks become just sitting in your tackle box. It was so easy to put a needle sharp point on a hook I think I will be using this sharpener on every hook i use prior to going fishing, knowing that I have a a sharp hook on my line will give me confidence that if I get a bite the hook will stick.

      ok for hooks, but get a stone as well.

      Tbh i have a sharpening stone, which is better. This is better in a way, as can get into smaller areas, not being negative, just truthful. Be surprised how many new hooks are blunt, if catching, needs a regular sharpen.

      Does exactly what you want.

      Short and simple review....the product works. It has a handy groove cut down the length of the item helping to keep the hook point in place. This gives a nice even stroke making the point lovely and sharp. Don't throw money at stupidly priced kit when you can buy this. £3.50....Think I'll buy a spare too.
