- t***p (150)- Feedback left by buyer.Past yearVerified purchaseNot exactly easy to cut with a very sharp, CPM110v blade. 2 years ago I bought a generic soft-cooler and a different brand of aerogel 'sample' materials. I 'modded' it by augmenting the factory foam insulation with 6mm aerogel panels and this worked brilliantly. I can keep iced, pre-cooled foods well into safe cold temperatures for ten days -- in late June -- if I keep it in the shade - while tent camping. This purchase, 10mm, goes in the top panel sealed in a ziploc bag . Recommended.

This stuff is difficult to cut but heavy duty scissors worked okay. Recommend handling this material outside due to the fine dust given off. Also recommend placing the material in zip lock bags to contain the fine dust.
