  • Fascinating bio if you are at all interested in space or engineering.

    I found this biography so compelling, I was almost unable to put it down. This is the first, detailed account of Neil Armstrongs life that I have ever read. His childhood ,early career in the Navy,and time as a civillian X-15 test pilot are covered quite thoroughly, but (fortunately) reasonably quickly, leaving the greatest portion of the book to cover his career as an Astronaut. I found it fascinating to read about the difficulties that Armstrong has faced in dealing with other peoples emotions, due to his own incredibly even temperament. The flight of Apollo 11 and his time on the moon is covered with such detail that even the most knowledgable space buff will still learn something new. I really found this book so deeply enjoyable, and would recommend it to anyone who has an interest ...
