      Challenging Replacement

      Included the special screwdrivers needed for the job, plus a couple that weren't needed. A tough job. Be sure to watch one or more of the YouTube videos that you can find, as they include valuable tips to help you remove the old battery and install the new one. Like using acetone to loosen the adhesive that holds in the old battery. But definitely worth doing if you're handy. Apple wanted something like $220 to replace the battery in my MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015).

      Apple is a pain to work on and to get the right parts for. Don't know how they stay in business. It was the correct battery and the tool kit helped.

      Great OEM battery.

      This was a genuine Apple battery for a early 2015 Macbook pro. The battery arrived with 1 cycle on it. The date of manufacturing is June/2015 and has a health of 97%. Stats are from the Apple app "Battery 2". My MacBook pro had a dead battery in it when I purchased it, it felt sluggish and didn't seem like it was running like it's supposed to. Come to find out MacBooks after a certain year will throttle back performance if thr the battery is bad... Once I replaced the battery, my cinebench multicore score went from 814 to 2070... Which confirmed the battery that wouldn't charge and needed service was throttling the performance.
