Arrived with one metal bracket slightly bent (metal is very pliable and was easily bent back straight with a pair of pliers.). On my Inspiron 5593 the metal brackets are bolted into place with mini rivets. Was able to break the brackets at the base to remove the original lcd, the new brackets don’t line up with the old screw holes (top or bottom.) The cable fits fine and new screen works but the lcd is now lose behind the bezel which couldn’t be snapped back in place in 2 spots on the bottom.

While the item is advertised specifically for the 5593 model, I had to remove the metal brackets that were double-sided taped onto the replacement screen and reuse my existing brackets off my existing laptop - not a direct replacement and should be noted on the listing.

Unfortunately, the screen came with a dead pixel in a noticeable part of the screen. Contacted the seller regarding it and they offered a partial refund even though their policy doesn't cover that level of manufacturer defect. Item arrived quickly and well-packaged and functioned as advertised all at an affordable price. That and the excellent customer service has left me and my customer very satisfied with my purchase. I'll be sure to purchase here again if I need another replacement screen.
