Kaplan Rosin
The scratch in my old rosin was driving me crazy. Its frustrating when you work so hard and pour everything you have into your playing, and you cant get the result you want. I swapped to to Kaplan Vivo Strings, which are very sensitive and bright. My old rosin was from a very reputable internet company but the harsh scratch it produced was now amplified with Vivo strings. I ordered the Kaplan dark rosin, I figured if it shared the same name, it would share the same quality as the strings, which are incredible. I was right, but not like I thought. Kaplan dark rosin is very smooth, no crunch or scratch at all. It has the grip I like, without snatching the string. Bowing is smooth regardless of the pressure applied. This rosin made it so much easier to play. I use a lot of rosin on my bow. ... The scratch in my old rosin was driving me crazy.
