    Better then the spot for alarm clock

    My home is automated by Alexa and I have echo variants throughout my home so adding this was a no brainier. Even if I only used as alarm clock it would be awesome but it's so much more. It controls every light, switch, air conditioner, camera, etc. Alexa is great for whatever. Alexa, wake me up in 30 minutes, Alexa add to grocery list, Alexa play rock music, Alexa make a playlist. It's amazing the things it can do. I learn something new every day. Automation was cheap and easy. Got hub free devices in the form of lightbulbs, switches, outlets, dimmer modules, and thermostats. All relatively inexpensive if you look

    Doesn't do much - very disappointing

    It takes a long time to connect to your devices and there is very little that you can do from the echo. Your devices will need to be controlled directly on the device or from the an app. I thought I could call up a camera and use the echo to take pics, rewind or zoom - you can't. It takes well over 1 minute to get an image so its much slower than using your phone and using an app. It constantly changes the display and takes itself out of clock mode so when you look at it for the date/time its useless. If you could adjust the screens and control devices from the echo this would be useful, otherwise its a very expensive sometimes desk clock.

    Good smart alarm with a few quirks

    Size: - small and perfect size for a side table. Features: - you can use Alexa to set most of the features, but some can only be done thru the app, like selecting the alarm to play music, or change the settings for the current alarms. - you can snooze the alarm by tapping on the side, which works, but a physical button would have been better. - sound is good. - camera and the drop-in feature are good. Product delivery: - excellent, on time and well packaged. New as advertised.

    I like the Echo Show 5

    The Echo 5 does not take up much space, I like the alarm clock feature. I like the physical camera shutter and that you can delete what you no longer want by just speaking; no need to search for how to delete this or that.
