    Excellent DVD Recorder

    I've used a similar Pioneer product for over two years in a Vidoegraphy business with GREAT success so I was looking for a DVD recorder that had Firewire In/Out. The Pioneers are the only Recorders that have this feature that I am aware of and even if I found another brand I doubt I would change since the Pioneer has been so reliable. This unit performs as described and I could not be happier. We shoot, edit and copy productions to DVCAM tape which is firewired to one of the Pioneer Recorders. This disc becomes our master and we duplicate from it, sometimes over 100 copies. GREAT UNIT!!!

    Great DVD Recorder when you find one that still works.

    I already had one of these and it lasted many years of burning home DVD's, but finally died. Thats why I bought this one and it is working perfectly so far and I am very happy with this DVD recorder.

    works okay.

    I discovered this recorder is not compatible with my pioneer DVR 231. It works okay with fresh discs. If I have material on a disc the system does not recognize it unless it's been finalized. Because have the menu system, it will erase it.

    Pioneer DVR-310S DVD Recorder

    I like it because it's a Pioneer and not a RCA. It can record so many different ways,I haven't learned them all yet. It will play my recorded shows from a different recorder that wouldn't play it self. I needed a new one and this was a pioneer.
