If you are going to buy these fans so you can make lights like on the box & on advertising, you are going to be let down. The lights come from the LED's on the side of the fans, and they don't project that light to the fans very well. But it is still OK, you still have the lights there, it is just on the outside of the inside of the fans. Turn up the colour & the illumination, and it doesn't look half bad. The fans work fantastic. I have 6 of them connected to a 10 way connector from Amazon
