    Complete package, Water anodes.

    Being able to fit one and still have a spare, due to water quality, fitting a replacement may be required. At the price listed, meant two for less than the cost of one. Having thread tape supplied as well is a nice touch, even tho I had tape, it was appreciated. For those less prepared, complete package.

    Do not screw in.

    The true worth of an anode is longevity to the barrel of the boiler. It needs years to evaluate so there is no simple throw away line to encompass this product. However as the threads do not engage with the boiler outlet I am suspicious they are the wrong size. They just simply don't seal even with gas tape so I am unable to screw them into the boiler. I have had problems with this type before, the boiler is American NPT thread and the anodes supplied previously were BSP. The TPI are the same but the the thread profile is more angled so only one thread engages which does not supply a seal. Suggest only genuine Suburban ones are used.

    Is the thread on the anode nut correct.

    The anodes are supposed to fit all Suburban RV hot water systems however they will not screw into the female anode water tank socket far enough. The anodes screw in about one and a quarter turns, which I believe is not far enough, and stop. The thread in the Suburban socket is 3/4 inch NPT while the anodes supplied appear to have a 20mm thread. The quality appears okay, but the thread is a bummer so I now own 2 anodes that appear to have incorrect threading.

    low cost but not able to install.

    Threaded section appears to be not correct. Excessive force would be required to install this threaded section. Appeared that thread was not machined to match the HWS female threaded section. Did not install item. Used a spare genuine anode.
