This is the original equipment manufacturer for Fiat/Alfa turbo diesel engines. As you might expect it fits, and it works very well. Quality is pretty good. I have nothing to compare it with but on my car they last about 100,000 miles which seems reasonable given the price. When it's not working, the car feels a little sluggish (not boosting correctly) and produces a lot more smoke. Eventually you'll start seeing engine management light errors (particularly 0236). The new doodah more or less immediately puts the EM light out, without any need for the dealer to plug the car in to a diagnostics machine.. and the car produces only about 1/3 as much smoke as it did before. What's not to like? Make sure the pipes from the doodah to the turbo boost control actuator (the pepper pot next to ... This is the original equipment manufacturer for Fiat/Alfa turbo diesel engines. Make sure the pipes from the doodah to the turbo boost control actuator (the pepper pot next to the turbo) fit securely and aren't split/daamaged (some gasket goo around the stubs and a mini Klick clip will do the business.. and make sure the arm on the actuator moves in and out while you're down there, in case that's dead and might be the real problem. Otherwise it's not to tricky to fit (you may need to move the airbox out of the way, is all),
