Lets face it.... cars are a luxury, therefore an expense. The simple fact is, no matter how you look at it, even if your car runs perfect all the time, you still have to put gas in it to make it go. Expense! But who's car runs perfect all the time? If you have one, let me know so I can get one too! But honestly, at some point in time your car needs some attention. Whether it is the simple oil change, brakes, or something more difficult, wouldn't it be nice to do it yourself as opposed to shelling out a bunch of cash to have someone else do it for you? The Haynes line of repair manuals are perfect for the novice level and up do it yourselfers! Not only do they put the tasks in an easy to understand text, they use excellent photographs to accompany the written repair. Making this a extremely ... Haynes Manuals Much Improved
Haynes manuals used to be barely good enough to get you in trouble, like making something seem simple when it was not. This new one is far better. Has little hints if you should attempt a task as an amateur

Very good informative book for all your questions about your Safari/Astro van. It has saved me alot of time of knowing what to look for ahead of time, instead of opening the doghouse and searching, when I could have gotten to it from the front instead.
