    Deathlok graphic novel review

    Book was basically as new. Still in its original cellophane wrapper, so had clearly never been opened. Slight damage to two corners of the hardback cover, but that could have been there from when it was sitting on the shop shelf, so acceptable. The graphic novel itself is a collection of the original Astonishing Tales, Deathlok the Demolisher comics from the mid seventies. These were very unlike other Marvel comics of the time, very dark, violent and the main character was an anti-hero. I think the concept behind the character of Luther Manning (Deathlok) was years ahead of its time. So yes, the content is compelling. Very happy!
