Ronny Kray & Reg Kray
Two of the most feared men in their day one wrong word in their company could be your last, yet no matter how bad they were they had heart but more so for family only. Martin & Gary Kemp I'd say portray the Krays correctly from their upbringing to their downfall but I've seen other versions such as the Legend but that originates around the Krays as people whereas the Kemp Brothers give you the style the glamor and the violence they portrayed from the late 50's to the late 60's. For gripping suspence and violence this has the be the best Krays movie out there, maybe some parts in the movie is not to true events but that's purely to show you exactly what they were capable of doing. There'll never ever be another Reg and Ron Kray for what they stood for and what they had fot their reasons ... Didn't Even Move To Make A Cuppa!
Compelling absolutely first class acting. My Aunt used to babysit the twins and she used to tell me stories of Kray Twins before they were notorious and the family. This was just right and Billie Whitelaw was as I imagined their mother to be and their Auntie who lived next door to them. Jack the Hat played by the late Tom Bell was compelling - In fact all actors were superb. Martin & Gary Kemp were so menacing as should be in this gangster story.. In fact this is the only DVD I have ever watched more than twiceCompelling absolutely first class acting.
