Had a problem to get the laser Blue-Ray player to recognise blue-ray region “A” DVDs. A kind salesman at Harvey-Norman showed me how to change the region code. 1. Close the tray without the disk 2. Press setup on the remote 3. Key In 8520 4. Then select the region - 1 for “A”, 2 for “B” or 4 for “C”. The instructions in the manual for changing regions does not work. Also, the DVD player is $25 cheaper at Harvey Norman

Having previously owned a similar model, when still living in Sydney, this light weight, small and compact player fulfilled its multiple functions of all region’s DVDs, and all zones Blu-ray Discs. Having finally been reunited with the items I had left in storage in Sydney Newark’s fours years ago, it was natural for me to buy another player so as to enjoy my vast physical collection of music and cinema. Affordable multi-region Blu Ray and DVD player. I found it to be fast and compact, gone are the days of waiting prolonged periods for the disc to sputter and then eventually load. Although make sure to enter the code “8520” in the setup menu to access the hidden menu which enables the multi-region controls. It won’t be able to read all regions without doing so!

    Great multi-region Blu-ray player

    Great multi-region Blu-ray player. Only small issues are the small buttons on the controller and the slightly tedious method needed to change the region setting. Aside from that, it gets the job done and I am happy to have gotten it.

    Good Multi region Blue ray DVD player

    Very good quality player. The only thing that is not so good is the small buttons on the remote control to work with the disk in the drive. I need the back of a pen to push the mini buttons or get a wrong or no response.

    Very capable player with a small footprint.
