Fits semi tight on size L which is what you want so it doesn't slide off & also feel comfortable. Inside has rubber grip lining on the top so it won't slide off easily. I washed it & is still good. Item didn't arrive so they sent out another one. Don't expect these for Volleyball fall/diving .... & also not for full contact sports like Rugby or NFL. This is merely for soft landing so you don't graze your knees but still good
