Awesome video camera
excellent camera. I had one I bought new in 1999 and paid over $900.00 it final broke. I bought another one on ebay for$55.00 just so I could use my saved mini dvds. It was like brand new,my wife couldnt believe it. It takes awesome video and is simple to use. It is compact for our trips to disney, I am thrilled I was able to replace the one I had. It is so easy to use my kids use it all the time for soccer,gymnastics, school plays you cant save enough memories. We love the hitachi quality and simple features.excellent camera. Conveniance and Quality
I love these little cameras. It's too bad that DVD-ram didn't become popular enough to still be made but they are worth it when you find them. Other formats are fully usable like DVD-r and stuff but the DVD-ram's are so conveniant and the data is supposed to last for upwards of 30 years. That's what I try to always use in these cameras because of in camera editing and the double-sided disks hold and hour of footage. At one point I had the lesser DZ-MV730a and that was stolen so now I got the better one. If I had like a thousand to throw at a camera I'd get much nicer stuff but these camera's for the price, conveniance of use, and quality of material are definitely my favorite. They also can take all kinds of lenses(usually with adapters) and have a spot for an SD card. These are honestly ... I love these little cameras. Not in working order.
In the description of this product is says tested and in working condition, therefore I purchased it it came without the battery or charger therefore it’s not in working condition and how was it tested without battery or charger? Needless to say I went ahead and purchase another recorder with full disclosure of every item that’s included. I want to make sure I don’t get ripped off again.
