The painting was very securely packaged, and arrived within two days. Postage costs were very reasonable.     Beautifully packed but we were disappointed with the condition and horrified at the restoration costs . ( this from another party )This will teach us to ask more questions .The seller was also reluctant to describe its provenance fully . I might still buy again but not at the price i did . Ah well lessons to be learnt . The seller was pleasant though ! I hate leaving feedback that cannot be 100% positive but sadly i cant on this occasion .

    I think you actually got a very good deal on this painting compared to his other works and this was actually in very good condition for its age. Restoration costs are always a ripoff, I don't control that. And lastly, the provenance. I've told you that it came from a Devon estate sale during the covid thingy. I know exactly the manor house, the address and the names of the people, however I can't disclose that information due to data protection laws, just like I can't disclose any buyer data
