    Reinstall an Audi A5 proper oil dipstick.

    Bought this for my Audi A5 that was built new without a dipstick you could only check the oil level via the MMI (electronic sensors) and we all know how reliable these things are. Removed the factory fitted dipstick blanking plug and installed this dipstick and 'Bingo' you can now check your oil level manually to my mind much more reliable.

    Great item. Better to have it on your 3.0 tdi engine.

    Newer VAG engines 3.0 tdi have no dip stick. In its place you have electronic version that shows you oil level on the screen. I prefer to open the bonnet and check it manually as you can have a quick look around engine bay for problems etc.

    Should be fitted as standard.

    Enables you to see exactly the oil level without using the electronic gauge which can be very hit and miss. Good quality fits perfectly.
