Product Information

Hot on the heels of Konami's Dance Dance Revolution series comes Flow: Urban Dance Uprising, a hip-hop take on the dancing game genre. Players can choose from a lineup of ten streetwise characters, each motion captured from "real" breakdancers, ten urban environments, and six play modes. The format will be instantly recognizable to genre fans, with the object being to replicate a series of onscreen directional movements using one's feet atop a standard dance mat peripheral. There are a total of 100 challenges to complete, and as players string together successful moves in time to the music, their point totals will gradually increase until the song ends. Up to eight players are supported in three party modes, and the licensed soundtrack features 50 songs from such artists as The Sugarhill Gang, Das EFX, Eric B. & Rakim, and more.

    Flow Is A Good Game!

    I think that Urban Dance Uprising is actually a pretty good game. It follows the same exact gameplay mechanics as DDR. Don't be mislead by the name, I still don't get what it means!!! The main attraction for this game is the type of music that it has to offer. What you get is about 50 tracks, all of which are rap or hip hop music. Of course, in a game like this, it is important to be able to enjoy the music. If you're not a real fan of this kind of music, I would stay away. Originally, I did not like a bunch of the tracks, but the more I played it, the more I enjoyed the music. The step charts are pretty good and follow the beat of the tracks. Overall, if you have a dance mat, and don't mind rap music, I would give it a shot! :)

    flow review

    this game is fun, it is set like an rpg game where you have to accomplish different goals in each song. The song selection is not as "beaty" as i would have hoped but the steps are n great accordance with eachother and it is a great game for its price.

    Love free style but most of the song you wouldn't know unless you listen to the era of the jungl brothers. great game good workout for the kids

    Good choice if you are into DDR Games

    I decided to buy this game after a recent addiction to DDR. Its a good game but its not my favorite. If you are really into DDR, give it a try.

    Excellent

    My son absolutely loves this DVD. I decided to purchase this item because he enjoys trying to dance, as well as dance like the characters. I like this DVD because of the price for myself, but I love it because it entertains my son.
