  • Lost in Space - the complete series

I watched the entire series when I was a young boy. I loved the 1st and 2nd seasons..... They were by far the best of the series. They progressivly got worse and were very disappointing especially the last several episodes. I can only believe that Guy Williams hated the last two seasons. The sad part is that they didn't fire the writers and get some better talent. The stars all played thier parts well except for Dr. Smith - who I felt was in way toooo many episodes as the main player. Overall all the black and white episodes were very good with very few exceptions....... Still a good plot with some great episodes.

  • oh, crepe Suzette!

"Lost in Space" is among the absolute best of 60s TV Sci-Fi. Yes, the plots are inconsistent, silly and illogical. But, it's also filled with creativity and imagination and offers loads of entertainment value. I'd rank it right up there with "The Outer Limits" but without the serious undertones and profound moral messages. For those of us who were born in the 50s and were school children in the 60s, this series is sure to bring back many fun and fond memories.

  • Lost in Space - The Collector's Edition (VHS)

Talk about going downhill fast! I was a little boy when this show was on and even at that age I lost interest in this series after the first couple of seasons. Apparently, the creators of this show meant it to be a serious sci-fi series. Unfortunately, the writers/directors quickly turned this into a farce a lot "Batman" that was just plain silly. I read somewhere that even the cast members were embarrased to be in this ridiculous series. It really saddens me to think of what a fine show that this might have been...

  • Almost as Good as Watching It in 1965

Unblemished by "remastering" or any other digital slight-of-hand, this is vintage television as it should be.
