The seller shipped two books from my great aunt, whom I am named after, in a thick box, from Germany to the western USA. It was sent requiring a signature to receive it, so it was very secure. The box had enough extra padding inside so that these fragile books arrived unharmed. They were in the condition described, and they arrived very soon after I ordered them.
