Brother QL-700 - good but needs extra setup steps (Win10)
The printer is well made and when you get the software setup (Windows 10) it works well. The issue is it needs to have the firmware updated before it will work correctly. These direction will help resolve this problem 1) In order to install the following Brother program, ensure that the Status lamp is lit Green and the Editor Lite lamp is off 2) Find a small update program by Brother called (PtUpdater) - this collects all of the updates necessary including the critical update of the firmware for the unit. This small program also offers; a. A collection of templates b. P-touch Editor 5.1 program The printer is well made and when you get the software setup (Windows 10) it works well. Cheap, fast and well designed.
A really good fast label printer. I previously had a popular name brand which was constant trouble. Very happy with the ease of use and the fact that it senses which label is inserted.

Good product which produces good labels. We used it on a Windows and an Apple and the procedure was quite different for each (which is a bit frustrating). The Apple has more limited functionality than Windows for some no doubt technical, reason. You don't have access to some templates and more advanced design with the Apple (which is surprising). The print quality is good and labels are clear and concise. The biggest frustration is the instructions. They are ambiguously written and are hard to follow. Some perseverance is needed and trying a few different things to get success. I (Windows) am more patient with this stuff but my wife (Apple) got very frustrated and annoyed with the procedure. But it worked well in the end. Overall we are happy (now). Good product which produces good labels. Good but , software doesnt seem to work with windows 7 , hoqwver has a lite software program that works well for windows 7 , probably is auto setup for windows 10
