In good light the auto focus is good and photos sharp. I haven’t had it long enough to comment on its durability. Super light for travelling. Fantastic value. Colour rendering is nice.

Performance Well Above Expectations
This useful focal range lens produces quite sharp, constrasty images. The stabilisation is effective, and despite the light weight and plastic construction, it seems quite robust. Optically, it seems to be better than most kit lenses I have seen, and it focuses down to a fraction over one metre, simulating macro. I haven't noticed any vignetting, distortion or other problems in real life shooting, and I am quite happy with the performance of this bargain optic. the lens is pretty good, it has pretty good image quality. i would avoid all those cheap no name ones. it works good on the fujifilm xt100 camera.

Awesome lens, awsome value.
I wouldn't necessarily say this is a grossly underrated lens because there are many reviewers online stating just the opposite. And they are all right. It is a very good lens with the only disappointment being that it is rather slow. But considering I paid maybe a fifth of the price of an xf I will never ever complain. Very happy.
