As described, brand new in the box
This is so much better than the 600 I was using. You won't believe the difference. The article like I said was as described. Brand new in the box. No damage to the box at all. It had not been opened. The price was excellent because I checked on them at a lot of places and it was free shipping. Also they took care to send it signature confirmation which was no trouble to me I have to go to the P. O. anyway to pick up my mail. It is so much faster than the 600 and makes a good carrot smoothie. This product is well worth the $70. Leaky Nutribullet
Shortly after I bought the blender it began to leak from the plastic base in which the blades are mounted. I called the company and they immediately sent a new base. I'll give Nutribullet good marks for customer service. But I am suspicious that this is a regular problem with Nutribullet because a number of reviewers mentioned their units leaked too. The new base worked perfectly for about a week and it too began to leak. I looked at the underneath side of the blade base and noticed three Phillips screws securing a metal ring to where the drive clutch wheel is attached to the shaft the blades are mounted on. The three screws were slightly loose so I tightened them and the blender stopped leaking the next time I used it. I will do a follow up review if this fixes the problem. As I see it, the blender is very powerful and the unit vibrates violently when operating. It is just a matter of time before the screws start loosening. Also I noticed that the top side of the blade base where the plastic cup screws on to it, there is a rubber gasket ring. It is made of hard rubber and is the same color grey as the base, so it doesn't look like a gasket. Anyway, after I tightened the three screws, I thought that the gasket might be an issue as well. So before the I used the blender I rinsed the blade side of the base in hot water for a few seconds. This will make the gasket slightly more pliable and the moisture will enable the cup to form a more secure waterproof connection when screwed in place. If your unit leaks try tightening the three screws and applying hot water to the gasket area for a few seconds. Hopefully this is all it takes to make the Nutribullet waterproof, because I really like the machine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Perfect smoothie maker
perfect for making smoothies, just fill it up and turn it on, I don't eve use any stupid recipes, just fill it with fruit and ice and OJ...et voila! Replacement parts are cheap and easy to find. They also make a ton of accessories. The only draw back is the cups have three little plastic tabs that turn on the machine by pressing down and turning depending entirely on these little plastic tabs. I love it! My only regret is that is doesn't have a higher capacity. I also have to say the motor smells a little funny when it's running and I hope that isn't a sign of bad things to come. They have a good reputation for durability so I'll cross my fingers. Can't be without it!!!
I previously tried the Ninja and thought it was OK. I was skeptical of this when ordering but quickly found out it is far better than anything in this category. Mine lasted 3+ years with heavy use. When it failed I had to replace it immediately. It is that great. I recommend the 900 Pro Series as better than the 600 or the newest RX. This is the best value. It will emulsify anything you throw at it quickly. Easiest cleanup. Great starting recipes in a book but soon you will learn and be experimenting on your own fresh, nutrient rich veg. or fruit combinations. If it doesn't taste right...it isn't finished yet, lol. Just add something to it...like when preparing your meals. It is quick, many times less than 60 seconds, yet will liquefy tough stringy veg. like celery, cabbage hearts, wheat grass, and any seeds or produce with stems and greens. I mean with zero chunks or bits. If the drink seems think, just add a few small ice cubes, more water, etc. and it will be as smooth as any store juice but with pulp and fiber still there. Better yet it doesn't have preservatives AND it isn't pasteurized. It is nutritious, raw, and healthy delicious.. Lastly, your body can absorb it directly and better and larger amounts than just chewing...while the raw ingredients won't have the stronger tastes and orders of foods that are cooked. The Blender is very Good and does a wonderful job of Blending. The only drawback about this blender is that the gasket has a tendency to keep coming off. Fix that and You would have a great product. FINALLY Faster and Easier Nutrition
I have been eliminating wheat from my diet because I discovered it's causing me problems and weight gain. Unfortunately that decimates a normal breakfast menu, and you can only eat so many eggs:( The Nutribullet has given me a very fast/easy way to make a filling and fresh supplement to my breakfast. Plus its a great way to get several servings of fruit/veg per day! I now keep some greens and fruit on hand and can have a smoothie ready and cleaned up in under 5 min. And if you include part as frozen fruit you can skip the need for ice. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that you have to be careful to screw the blade base on REALLY tight every time, or you will have a leaker running out onto the counter since it will come out the holes in the bottom of the unit. Other than that have had no issues - have been using daily for about a month and now my husband is hooked too. We do not use our regular blender or food processor because you either have to handwash everything or use dishwasher top rack and wait for our weekly cycle. This does literally rinse clean in like a half minute and you're done. And takes up very little counter space. We're very satisfied with this purchase!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
