    For the price. It worked well for a shade tree mechanic.

    Pros Worked great for pulling a 350 with powerglide still attached. It will level out. Cons The plastic knob on the handle stripped out. I found that it was easier to use a socket wrench to turn it.

    Good price & it works

    I can't say that this is good quality - it is just OK. The crank handle was installed backwards when I received it, so I reversed it, but it's too flimsy to stand up the the force required to move a heavy load. The threaded pivot block almost comes out of the slot when direction of the lead screw is reversed. Aside from these issues, the vertical load bearing parts are sturdy & well made. It is worth the $, and worked for my application, but some rework would be necessary for heavy use.

    Safer than cross chaining your motor!

    Haven't used it yet but it's very heavy duty and looks like it will do the trick. Planning on lifting an Olds 455 and T400 tranny into my Cutlass.

    Cheap made

    It's made of cheap material but works with a few improvements. Need to file the sharp edges and burs off soon as you get it out of the box. Buy a better lever handle and add a piece of metal by each chain mount. Then it will work great.
