    Excellent monitor

    (I upgraded to this from a 2013 AOC 21.5" monitor, and paid $285.) First impressions are great. I did a lot of reading online to see if a 27" monitor was worth it, and a lot of people said it wouldn't be noticeable. However, having it in person, I can say it definitely is a big difference from a flat panel. It really draws you in; and I find that 27" is a good size for me. It's big enough to comfortably watch movies from a small distance, and small enough that you can still sit in front of it to use it for daily things. The actual panel has nice colors, brightness, and blacks; and despite it being 1080p, I find it to be really clear and great to use. It's fairly easy on my eyes and where I used to get some pain from my old monitor, this one is great (I use the eye saver mode a lot). ...

    Nice monitor for the price tag but beware of the dreaded dead pixels.

    The good. Nice curves, large display, very clear and comfortable on the eyes. The bad. Ordered 2 of these monitors. They both had about 6 dead pixels each. One was returned for RMA replacement as there was a clump of 3 dead pixels in one spot. The other I managed to unstick the 5 dead pixels using a cotton tip and gently rubbing the screen above the dead pixel. Since there was only 1 semi-dead (red not working) pixel left, I didn't bother trying to return this one. The RMA replacement arrived about a 1.5 weeks after returning it. To my amazement there were no dead pixels on this unit. 1 out of 3 ain't bad :(

    Value for money

    I love the concave screen. 27" is a good size on a large desk. The image is very comfortable. Samsung is a reputable brand and while the product may not be regarded as high end by gamers . It is a value for money monitor which would be moe than adequate foir the averga user.

    Slick design & happy camper

    Very pleased with purchase.. Excellent curved design & visual output. The screen has light adjustment swivel for slight up and down.. Only downside would be you can't adjust the height
