ModNation Racers is a system-exclusive kart racing game that allows users to create, customize, and share levels with the PlayStation 3 community. Viewed from a third-person perspective behind your go-kart, the game involves effectively using drifting techniques to fill a multifunctional boost meter. Depending on the meter's level, you can use the boost for a temporary surge of speed or for a shield to defend against enemy projectiles. <br><br>Weapons scattered across the tracks include missiles, lightning strikes, sonic waves, and more. Each weapon can also be powered up to new levels, allowing for enhanced attacks. Similar in concept to LittleBigPlanet, ModNation Racers features a robust set of tools to customize characters, vehicles, and tracks. Quite satisfied with this exchange. I received the game with some patches of glue and a bit more damages than shown in the picture as well as a french manual. The damage doesn't bother me much but the manual did. After communicating with the seller, I understood they had good intentions and wanted to do something nice as they saw I lived in a mostly french region. I requested the english copy and the selly quickly replied and accepted with a few details. Overall very happy and understanding! ^^

Check your console before giving up.
Downloaded game but kept freezing at 65-67% when it came to first game play. Kept skipping in the intro and didn't know what to do so I looked it up. Found out you can clear dust inside using it's own fan inside and that my ps3 data needed to be rebuilt manually which didn't take 5mns. Gameplay is great and challenging!!

Race others on your track or on theirs. Play online with up to 14 others. The ability to make your own driver, car and track was the biggest draw to this game. If you have or like Little Big Planet (another awesome game) then you will like this one also. I love how you can build your own track & add landscaping, buildings, mountains, houses, lakes whatever to the field beyond the track. There are not enough good things to say about this. I love the game, and so does my 9 year old. CONS: Takes a while to load, either when starting or changing areas. If someone is using their Bluetooth, no way to edit their ... If you enjoy MarioKart, then you'll definitely enjoy this!
Great buy if your into those MarioKart games. The main difference I've notice with this game compared to other Rated E/Cartoony racers, Besides the gimmicks of weapons and free customization, is that this game will definitely send a challenge. All players are given endless levels, avatars, vehicles not only by the creators, but from players themselves that can be shared/downloaded online. There would only be one thing that I found a bothersome. I've noticed that it literally took alot of gameplay to get used to the maneuvering. Unlike MarioKart, where anybody can pick up a control, have fun and also get first place, it'll take more than fun to get close to the top. Besides that, this game is definitely must play.Great buy if your into those MarioKart games. Exciting Racing Game with Infinite Customization
This game is like Little Big Planet on Wheels. It truly lives up to it's name where modding is the center piece of attraction. Once you're able to unlock the many items available, you'll come to find that you have all the tools you need to create just about any character out there. The only downside to the game is the load times. It can take some time to load your creations or even the racing in general. Overall, I give this game a solid 8. You can spend hours alone just modifying your character, your kart, and the tracks. It's a game that anyone will enjoy. My 5 year old nephew loves this game and he still can't figure out how I have a Mario and Luigi character in the game. He's now asking for Yoshi, Sonic and others to play with. I got a used copy for $20 on Ebay. I'm sure you can also find a new one for $25 or so.
