    Great product but be sure you've got the right track!

    This is a beautiful engine that runs and sounds great. Be careful, however, because this is the newer version of Lionel's Polar Express that only runs on Lionel "Ready to Play" track. The wheel spacing is about 1/4" too wide to run on conventional G gauge track that was used by Lionel's earlier versions of this product. Earlier versions of Lionel's Polar Express could run on Lionel G gauge track as well as other brands of G gauge track (such as New Bright). This newer version of Lionel's Polar Express runs only on Lionel "Ready to Play" track!

    Love it!

    Love this train set. Very nice! Wouldn't move at first but changed generic batteries that came with it to new Duracell and it is awesome. Kids LOVE it! Much larger than I imagined. There wasn't an owners manual (you'll need it) but I downloaded one from manufactures website.

    Cool Loco

    I was looking for a locomotive to use with 1/35th scale military figures. So far this has been a very good choice, filling the role quite nicely. I am still in the process of modifying, but thus far it has been a very good choice.
