    Brilliant !!!

    Didn't know what to expect when l first started viewing this film. As the story unfolds you can't help but being engrossed. For a young girl Nathalie Portman plays an astonishing debut role. Jean Reno is always tops (Ronin). Overall, now up in my top five films. Seen it twice now and l dare say will see it again. The video in back and white on Youtube (Sting) is also worth a view. Highly recommend !

    Replacement for original DVD I bought in the 90's. Much better Directors Cut, makes more sense as acomplete movie now - and full-screen, which the first DVD wasn't. Awesome movie start to finish, Oldman is on fire.

    Despite a faulty disk highly enjoyable till it froze

    A delicate subject i.e. sexual awakening of a vunerable young girl,handled with great care. Reno and Portman give career defining performances ,Oldman is drug addled darkness personified in non super hero terms EXCELLENT. TIMELESS.
