When you have the correct tool for the job, it's easy, no muss no fuss. Don't be cheap . . . . I bought a cone wrench that was the wrong tool for a pedal removal (CHEAP). it bent and was definitely the wrong tool for the job at hand. I mistakenly bought another cone wrench from Park and didn't even take it out of the packaging . . .wrong tool for the job . . .knowledge is P O W E R)

Working on becoming more independent on maintaining my own bicycle. You need the right tool for every job. The Park Tool pedal wrench was able to loosen my old pedals and attach new ones in a jiffy. Nice leverage with zero shifting once the tool is in place. When you look at the other pedal tools on the internet notice that the wrench neck is welded and not a single unit cast like the Park Tool. That means that the tool was something else before it was made into a pedal tool. The weld will be the weakest point of the tool right on the neck where you need it to be strongest. Don't even bother with that junk. Those inferior tools will break and you will have to shell out another ten or twenty bucks to buy a new one. You've see the rest, now buy the best.

This tool is best out for price . it's pretty big so it's easy to get leverage wanted in wheel removal and install . Flat so it fits in back pack great . Not made for a pouch or bike bag . It's more of a stay at home tool , but I travel with mine on long rides .

I found it impossible to find a 15mm wrench that fit between the pedal and the crank arm, so I bought this wrench. It appears to be well made and properly tempered to do the job. It is narrow but not flimsy, and has a long arm for gaining proper leverage on tight pedals.

I found out trying to install my new pedals, my combination bike wrench was too thick. I bought this wrench and because of the sleek profile, I was able to get right in there and tighten my new folding pedals. Couldn't have done it with out this wrench. Keep one at your bike work station.
