2TB Micro SD card didn't work. Encountered an error when trying to format the card, even tried to format on a PC rather than my Steam Deck which I bought it for and still no luck. Thought it might have been a problem with the Steam Deck at first but according to Valve customer support the Steam Deck should be able to format and use the 2TB Micro SD I bought. Overall not happy but it was a gamble at £10 for a SD I suppose. Now I know to only buy them from genuine retailers.

Unfortunately, this SD card does not work on my Tapo camera and is not fit for purpose. This is because the Size of 2 TB is considered abnormal and not genuine. Tapo claims that SD cards such as this are not supported because whilst the orginal SD card may only be 64 GB.. it may have been modified by the manufacturer or seller to show an increased Size.. it is therefore considered unsafe as the SD card is liable to lose data.

Hello as advised your tapo camera does not read the size of card you had ordered as it is to large, so you will have incorrect errors showing (as advised by tapo) the size of our cards are and proven to be as advertised and as advised a format altering the allocated size of gb for your device would have helped it function as needed. Thank you
