The emblem arrived quickly and looks very nice. For whatever reason, the FORD emblem itself was applied to the back plate upside down so that the center mounting peg was offset and would not match up with the hole in the tailgate. But simply snipping the offending peg off at the base with wire cutters fixed the problem. The pre-installed peel-n-stick adhesive pad seems pretty strong so we'll see if it lasts.
