    Heavy-Duty, Well Made Receiver

    The Yamaha RX-V1700 is a very well made receiver. The sheer weight of this unit gives an idea of the heavy duty power transformer inside. It should hold up to years and years of use. The RX-V1700 incorporates quite a large array of features. And the sound quality is absolutely excellent! This combination of numerous features, strong amplification power, and excellent sound quality make for an impressive receiver. Especially when taking into consideration the possibility of getting this item at a reduced price, (as it is several years old now), the Yamaha RX-V1700 is an excellent value.

    This monster if an receiver shack my floors ,at low volume !")+- my sony str db 830 did not do this i have 1400 watts at one channel 1400 +1400 ≈2800 2 speaker and surround is like at a Metallica concert so like it breath taking and your friends would be like wow ' I tried the best of the best in receiver and this one will blow your mind away , in metal ,, music in a sound stage

    Good so far

    I tried it and it sounds great but I haven't I installed it yet. I should have spent more on the speakers, they don't allow the receiver to show it's full potential.
