The cartridge looks good, and Game Boy cartridges are known for their durability. The battery save still works. And I have yet to encounter a glitch or any problematic areas of the game. In terms of game quality, this game contains everything you might expect from a Zelda title. Puzzles, combat, dungeons, items, and a cool story. The only pitfall is that sometimes the puzzles are too difficult, or the path forward isn't clear. This shouldn't be a surprise to those familiar with the Zelda series; and I was happy to see that the game would often point me in the right direction when I wasn't sure where to go or what to do. Otherwise, there is nothing wrong with the game itself. For every pang of frustration coming from not knowing what to do next, there is a great sense of accomplishment in equal measure when you find the route forward on your own.Read full review

Very strong 2D Zelda game. I played the Linked game, so there were a few extra perks, but the experience was still bursting with challenging puzzles, characters you like, and a fascinating time-jumping mechanic. The enemies are too easy for hardcore Zelda fans, but they are the focus of Oracle of Seasons. One or two bosses are too difficult, but you will get through them with practice. Highly recommend to those wanting a challenging adventure.

For such a large map on such an old hadheld, it's impressive for sure and a MUST HAVE if you already have oracle of seasons as beating both and connecting them via 2 gameboys and a link cable is the only way to play to the true ending of both games

this game is one of the better zeldas in the series, along with oracle of seasons, and it requires the player to both think and fight throughout the entire time you play. i enjoyed the ring concept, but i must admit that the linking and sharing rings from ages to seasons and seasons to ages, and using secrets between the two games is a confusing process. i have beat this game and i still don't get the whole idea of what it is exactly or how to do it, but that is just a moderately small part of the game, and what is really good is the story line and gameplay. it starts off with nayru singing and a sorceress takes control of her body and travels through time. not too ironically you must follow her in your attempts to save nayru. the game ends up being very fun and every aspect of the game is great. i definitely recommend this game to anyone considering it, and if you can find it for around 20 dollars, that is a definite bargain and i would say buy it for that price because it is completely worth it.Read full review
An excellent, classic game. Has great puzzles, endearing visuals and music, and with the rings and other gear to find throughout the game there is a lot to do. Potentially the age on this game might mean you won't be riveted to your bones with it or anything, but it's still a satisfying time.

This is part 2 of a tandem of Zelda games for the GBC; the first being Oracle of Seasons (I have both). They are connected by various secrets in both games. Things learned in the second game unlock things in the first and vice versa. If you're going to get one I suggest getting the other. The game is what you would expect from a Zelda title, FUN! The gameplay is like Link to the Past(SNES) due to the limitation of the GBC, but still FUN! I love Zelda games and this game is no exception. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 is b/c I'm kind of a hardass about giving 5's.
Gameplay is smooth and fairly easy. The story takes you back and forth in time to finally save the Oracle... But the game doesn't have to end there. If you also have the Oracle of Seasons, you can play the connected or linked game. Once you play the linked game, you can play all over again the opposite way in the hero's linked game. It is wonderful and there are a lot of variables. Each time you play, it can be different. Playing both games on the gameboy advance has one benefit, you can get the complete ring collection. When you get the password for the extended game, you can play on the 3DS if you purchased the games through the eShop. The game is full of puzzles. Rest assured, there is always an answer on how to accomplish the task. I have really enjoyed playing this game.

I had this game when I was a child and then I sold all my Gameboy stuff really cheap when I needed some money. When I saw this online I bought this game and a Gameboy and have been playing ever since. I like this game because it goes along with Zelda: Oracle of Seasons, which I also own now. You can transfer your stuff between the two games which is really neat. I really don't think I can find a single thing wrong with this games, its over 10 years old but it's a classic in my opinion. I would buy this game for twice the price if I had too because it's such a great game! I would recommend this game to anyone considering this game to go ahead and buy it, it's well worth it.
Came in on time with great packaging and both games look and work great! Thanks!
