Director Ishirō Honda and composer Akira Ifukube are back for the last and arguably best Godzilla film of the '70s!! It is a direct sequel to the excellent Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla (1974)

The movie, Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla, was fun but the musical background sounds too much like a cartoon soundtrack, not scary enough to show MG’s menacing power. This movie reminds me of how terrifying MechaGodzilla really is. I remember always seeing MechaGodzilla as the bad guy. This movie is one of the choices that helps me wrap my head around the plot of Godzilla vs Kong.

for the age of the movie, I am really enjoying the Toho masters collection. I wish they would do the entire collection, but I understand. arrived like new, and if you are a Godzilla fan, great price for a good product.

The very first Godzilla film I've ever watched. Other than playing the fighting games this movie was what made me a Godzilla fan. Introduced me to Godzilla as a anti-hero protagonist way before discovering that he used to have an antagonistic role in previous movies in the earlier Showa Era movies. I'm still watching this movie and many others to this very day.

Terror of Mechagodzilla Digitally Remastered with both Japanese original and English dub. This is the last of the Showa (50s-70s) G-movies, last Ishiro Honda directed G-movie, and the first and last appearance of Titanosaurus. Great film complete with monsters, aliens, and a mad scientist. English dub is longer due to an intro scene explaining Godzilla, which consists of stock footage & a narrative. A special feature titled "The Women of Godzilla" is included, though not entirely interesting it's worth a watch if you want to know about the actresses in the movies. All in all, GREAT MOVIE, even better DVD.
This is a great movie for anyone who is a godzilla fan. I bought this movie because I lost my original copy, but this one is even better. One of my favorite sceens in this movie and probably of the original series is when godzilla is first shown in this movie. It shows godzilla sillouetted and then he is illuminated by lightning. This movie is the last one of the original series and it is a great flick. Godzilla is put up against 2 monsters while he is all alone. If you want to know more about this movie I would reccomend buying it and there is a great review of it on www.cinemassacre.com under the monster madness section.
An amazing movie for a great price! Item came as if it was new!

A sequal to Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla this one picks up after the last one and does a flash back in the beginning title to catch you up on it. It pits Godzilla against 2 monsters with no help from Godzilla's monster allies. He takes a beaten but in the end he wins a another great victory. The humans try to stop the aliens again and see some good non monster fighting and a good story. But this is the last of the orginal classic Godzilla movies before the modern ones came out in the 80's and 90's and onward.A great monster fight and a most for fans of Godzilla.
Classic family fun! Entertaining and even comical, what could be better then watching the King of all monsters (Godzilla) fight his nemesis, Mechagodzilla!
