    Great product.

    This is a great little unit. I already had a model SL-SW515, and now I have two of them; this one a model SL-SW505. I love the units, and use them both from time to time. However, I repaired one just like this for a friend, who accidentally dropped it. You don't want to do that! The "hinge" is very weak. I was able to glue the very thin and fragile hinge with Gorilla glue, and then run a heavy paper clip all the way through, bend it up on both ends, and trim off the excess. Just for the record, I have a Phillips Expanium, which has been dropped several times, flew apart and put back together, and it still works great. It's a red unit and very dependable. So, still all in all, I will still give the Panasonic(s) a 5 Star rating. How can you go wrong with Panasonic. They just need to beef up ...

    Well built with superior sound.

    Excellent sound with solid bass. With side locks does not open accidentally while playing cd. I have had this particular cd player before and enjoyed it. Gave it to a family member and needed to use to listen to books on cd. This is exactly what was offered at a great price. I use it often to play music as well as books. Excellent product. Exactly what was advertised! Thank you!
