Heavy, but very well made and surprisingly feature-packed. It's a great accompaniment to my Nvidia Shield K1 tablet, especially with Nvidia's Gamepad Mapper software. I tried using the Mapper with an 8bitdo NES30 Pro controller, but the Shield controller is superior in every way but one: it's a lot harder to carry around.

If the controller doesn't work straight off the bat, restart your PC. Mine kept on turning off and on and made the usb plug-in and plug-out noise. D-Pad is alot smaller than I'd like. Smaller than the xbox 360's D-Pad Face Buttons are nice and clicky, not mushy like the updated modern shield controller Shoulder Buttons are strange, but work Trigger Buttons are not as good as xbox 360/One or PS3/PS4 That's all this controller is, not as good as PS3/PS4 or xbox 360/One, I got it because I collect controllers. If you want a good controller to use for PC i would recommend the xbox 360's controller. There's no fuss with the xbox 360's controller, you plug it in and it just works (on a windows PC of course). If you want a controller for side-scrollers or the retro style indie games released on Steam, then I would recommend waiting for the 8BitDo SN30 pro controller to release.Read full review
