Let me start by saying I am an American of 27 years of age. I started watching this series at 16, maybe 17. As a teenager watching a story about pre-teens, I was at first put off by the idea of watching a children's cartoon. However this is truly the kind of cartoon you would want to watch with your kid. This series shows children dealing with adult themes, and while it may be questionable for say a 4 year old who can't understand the childish choices that adults can make, for an 8 or 9 year old, this is a perfect age to start. I was completely drawn in to this series in an age of mindless and non-thought provoking nonsense that American children are subjected too. It also touches upon a subject not really delved into about choices and consequences. The main character is an awe inspiring one that truly fights for his beliefs, these beliefs are about humanity, peace, and friendship, traits that most cartoons have axed completely now a days for fear of some kind of reprisal. You watch these kids age and progress as the story progresses. 400 episodes later, these kids are in there later teens and the show is still going strong, catering on more teen/adult themes. This is a great show for people to grow up too and can only wish that our own cartoonists could learn from such.Read full review
This is an excellent series where a young boy tries to gain the respect of his fellow ninja and his entire hometown, by fighting to become the most powerful and skilled ninja in the land. He is born an outcast in his village, but slowly gains respect from all the people around him by his charisma, humor, and his power. Naruto rises up, slowly but surely to become the greatest ninja of all time. This series has got everything from hilarious side splitting moments, to teary eyed heart breaking scenes, and my personal favorite... hardcore ninja battles where it looks like theres no way they can defeat their enemy. If u like anime, this one is at the top of the list
Really love this show! Clean fun for all ages. A friend told me about this show, at first I thought it was going to be too silly to watch, but after watching the first few episodes! I was hooked, now it's hard not to watch each episode one after the other, it's just too bad that the episodes are a little short.
Awesome! Uncut With Original Japanese Audio! Not at all like the Cartoon Network's butchered version! If you want to see what Naruto really is watch the uncut only! Otherwise you are getting half the story!
It's a good setup for the next season, which has a lot more action in it, but I still enjoyed this one. It pretty much sets up the story.
