It has nothing to do with the seller being able to control. My only issue was just the patterns smelled old and indeed they are vintage patterns. I will do some research to see how I can remove this. I am slowly going through this book (for the second time) and highlighting the names I like. Then my partner and I go through the book together as well. Super fun, very interesting names and classics, and some you may have never even thought of!

Sometimes 100,00 names isn't enough!
This book was, overall, very nice. It does have a lot of names, with plenty of lists organizing them as well. It has celebrity names, most common names throughout the last several centuries, and many many more. The only complaint I have, and it's not that big, is that the names tend to lean toward the unusual. There are far more African-American names in this book than I've seen in any, ever, so that could be a plus if you're looking for more of those. There are also, however, a lot of names that seem completely unpronounceable as well - and not a lot of the more 'generic' English names. This book was great, and certainly good for the price. This is an outstanding book if you want a wide variety of names to consider. I have looked through it many times and have come up with some ideas. However, I almost find this book to be overwhelming. The list of names is very detailed and includes names from many countries. I have found myself using my smaller name book and the internet more often and then referring back to this one for meanings, variations, etc.... This is a great book. Just be prepared to have A LOT of names at your fingertips!This is an outstanding book if you want a wide variety of names to consider. What attracted me to this book was the fact that it had over 100,000 baby names. It does have a wide variety of names; and I like that fact that the names are divided between girls names and boys. If you are big on name meanings though, you may be a bit disappointed since a number of the names are a combination of two names so; there is really no meaning for them.
