A great camera
I have owned a couple of these camera,s over the years and have always found them to be more than capable for the job in hand. Solidly built and weather sealed, which is something you normally only find in Cameras costing a lot more money than what you can pick one of these up for, they are indeed great value for your money. The sensor is rated at 14 megapixels, which I have found to be more than adequate, I can produce a 12 x 16 print with this Camera and I cannot tell the difference from the same size print that I took with my K 3 which is in fact 24 megapixels, so if you are looking for a great workhorse which will produce excellent results, look no further, get one of theseI have owned a couple of these camera,s over the years and have always found them to be more than capable for the job in hand. Auto focus and shack reduction is very bad.
The auto focus and shack reduction is very bad. The image quality isn't sharp. I reviewd the website and found out there is a manufacturing problem in Pentax k7 shack reduction and auto focus. Many customers complaining frome the same issue. The Pentax k 7 has a very horrible shack reputation and auto focus system.

Still a great workhorse
The K-7, although far surpassed by modern cameras is still a great image-making machine. As long as you are willing to work within its limitations, it is still quite capable of making professional-quality images.

Pentax K7 is a Bargan
The Pentax k7 is a bargain I have read meany review prior to making my decision on the K7 and after using it i have found it to be easy to manage settings and set up and use i have used it in low and dark lighting as well as low temperatures and still received top quality pictures at a bargain price,to get straight to the point if i did not own my K7 and you lined up all camera's in the same comparable price range with the same features I would choose the K7 again.The Pentax k7 is a bargain I have read meany review prior to making my decision on the K7 and after using it i have found it to be easy to manage settings and set up and use i have used it in low and dark lighting as well as low temperatures and still received top quality pictures at a bargain price,to get straight to the point if i did not own my K7 and you lined up all camera's in the same comparable price range with the same features I would choose the K7 again.
