Pros: +Supports anisotropic filtering(AF) and anti-aliasing(AA) +Diverse number of weapons to pick from +Different types of uniforms to pick from +Better graphics then gamecube version +Tactical shooter game +X-ray vision +All weapons unlocked +Diverse environments Cons: -Cannot play as Dieter Weber -Week teammate Artificial intelligence -Shorter Briefings then gamecube version -Was unable to get multi-player to work -Low amount of ammo in primary weapon I owned both the gamecube and the pc version of this. I would say the pc version is about equal to the gamecube version. One advantage of the pc version would be that you can turn on AA and AF. This gives the weapons a clearer and shiny look. Also it has x-ray vision which was not present in the gamecube version. In the gamecube version you had to unlock most of the weapons. The pc version has all the weapons available from the start of the game. You can change what uniforms you and your team uses. There is a black ops uniform, desert uniform, olive drab uniform and urban uniform. You have a large arsenal of weapons to pick through From Assault rifles to lmgs and smgs there is a gun for everyone. This is a tactical shooter that involves team-based mission. The missions are unique. Some include going thought a bank, a parking garage, middle eastern mission, caves, shooting range just about any were. Some of the cons would be stuff that is not present in the pc version but was in the gamecube version. Unlike the gamecube version you cannot play as Dieter Weber and clear the area for the rainbow team. The whole sniper game is skipped. Also the mission briefings were cut short. The teammates that help you are complete fools, and they die before the end of the mission sometimes. Just use your teammates as bait better them then you. Although the teammates are sandwiches short of a picnic they do have some use. Some teammates can hack computers disable security cameras and clear rooms. The main character Ding Chavez can do any thing the teammates can do so going solo is possible. One thing the ticks me off big time is the lack of ammo. You will have to use your secondary weapons on each mission so pick a good pistol. Thank goodness you get unlimited ammo on pistols. Sadly I was unable to get multi-player to work, I get kicked from every server. I would give the game 5/5 if the multi-player worked.Read full review
The only good thing about this game is the graphics and the different weapons and items. The gameplay is awffffullll. Trust me on this one. I'm usually very forgiving with video games, especially shooters, especially tactical shooters. Usually if I play a game, no matter how bad it is, I've got to beat it. I'm not sure if I have the will power to play this one the whole way through. Your squad is useless. Occasionally they get a kill, but most of the time they just get in your way. They often run right across your fire and you shoot them in the head. The worst part about it is the enemy AI. It's terrrrrrible. You usually get hit once the whole level. And usually only 5 different enemies, of about 60-70 per level, actually shoot at you. They just stand there, run, or duck. It's so bad! It's more like a shooting gallery where you're hitting targets that don't fire back. Multiplayer seems like it might be all right, but there is usually only one server, and the ping is above 200. So it's useless. I only paid $5 for the game, but that probably wasn't even worth it. Again, I'm verrrry forgiving with video games and I usually can play all of them through. This one I probably can't. Trust me on this one, just don't buy it. It's a waste of time and money. Go study!Read full review
There are some solid elements here from the previous games in the series, but much less attention to detail. Team commands are over simplified, and team members have a really dumb way of stepping in front of you right before you pull the trigger. There is little to this game other than spraying bullets, stealth is of little or no value. You also can't pick up enemy weapons! What the hell is up with that? I have enjoyed this game, but it mostly just makes me nostalgic for the earlier titles.
The video game "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Lockdown" has been a disapointment so far. The first game "Rainbow Six" worked on my windows XP system without any problems. All of the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six games since then show video programming my system is missing. These programs are built into the newer video cards, which means purchasing a new card. Motherboards with built in video don't have the needed programs (such as pixel shading 1.1). Before purchasing the game I HIGHLY SUGGEST reading the side panel of the game and verifying you have ALL of the required programming the game requires.

I have played games for a long time on all platforms includeing XBOX360 and PS3 this was one of my favorites up there with God of War, God of War2 and even Resistance. The gameplay offers new weapons and equiptment and the ONLINE play is awsome. A must get for your collection.
Well again like always the award winning Tom Clancy series has done it again. A driven single player campaign with awesome graphics and great sound quality to go with it. Online play is great too, not to many players online but service and quality is a plus. Easy install, no problems, ran great.
if you like raven shield you will enjoy the 16 single player missions online gaiming is top notch a must for the fps gamer
