This bark deterrent is amazing!!
My neighbors next door have a dog that barks at all hours of the day and night as they leave him outside all the time. I don't want to cause a rift between neighbors so I've kept quiet about it even though I haven't slept well for months because of it. Though I was very skeptical, I would've tried anything as I was at my wits end! So I put this 'bird house' on my deck facing their yard a few nights ago. We haven't heard him bark since!!! I can't believe it was that easy! It has saved my sanity and is worth every penny!!! Wish I bought it months ago. I highly recommend it. Dogs Got Used To It
Product worked within 30 seconds at first, and for about 2-3 days. Then the dogs figured out that they could turn away from the product to bark, or stand away from it, and there was less irritation. Within a week, the dogs could look right at the product and bark, even though there was a new $8 9V battery installed. Obviously this product may be more effective with less-stubborn dogs, especially puppies, & could be quite useful used in conjunction with anti-barking training/reinforcement. In my situation, it was not my dog, so I was unable to supplement with training. As a former dog trainer, I would recommend that owners learn to properly exercise & discipline their dogs, teaching them not to bark. It is possible! But I would not rely solely on this product. Don't work
Bought this because a friend has one and loves it. I have 3 dogs 1 small,1 medium, 1 large and every little thing sets them off and was getting very annoying , and I figured this would quiet them down. Got it, set it up even set it to high and it doesn't even effect them. Not worth the time or effort. Pass on this guys. Save your money

Didn't work on small dogs
Neighbors Chihuahuas never stop barking, bought this with high hopes but didn't seem to faze them. Worked on my yellow lab but never had a problem with him barking much in the first place.
