A great reminder of the zaniness that makes up life...and then some!
Funny, funny, funny. They went everywhere with this show and cracked you up along the way. I remember watching this when I was young and love the fact that the laughs are still there after all these years. In this season Chester has a brain operation and can't remember who he is and for a while joins in with the Major who's mentally stuck back in WWII and blows up the neighbor's garage thinking it's an enemy bunker, but later Benson saves the day by telling Chester he's Marlene Dietrich...it's safer. So much zaniness in this season including UFOs, prison escapes and much more. As wacky as this show can get, in the next moment it will remind you how true to life it actually is. The writing definitely keeps you engaged. Benson's deadpan looks are still just as hysterical as ever! The ... Funny, funny, funny. Great funny show, VERY LACKING DVD PACKAGE
I have always enjoyed this show. All the actors were perfect with the parts they played. The stand outs are Robert Guillaume, the late Richard Mulligan, Katherine Helmond & Bob!! Very disappointing is the DVD package. No extras at all. Would have like to have had the surviving cast interviews. I would have liked to have heard & seen such a thing. And, the package itself, hard to open up.

Soap - The Complete Second Season (2004, DVD)
A must for any Billy Crystal fan. This is where he got his start. A must for anyone who loves to laugh. I don't think there is one episode in the entire series that wasn't hysterical. I loved the stars even back then when most of them were nobodys. One of the funniest sitcoms ever.

"Soap" is a classic! My husband was going in for heart surgery and would be home for several weeks with nothing to do. Daytime TV is not his thing, but "Soap" is like visiting an old friend!
